Cutting Capacity & Real-World Performance (Important)

The Chipease E700 is rated for a maximum cutting diameter of 3 inches (76mm), suitable for general garden timber and soft to medium-density wood.

In real-world use, branches under 50mm provide the best performance, delivering smooth feeding, higher efficiency, and continuous operation.

Larger branches around 60–75mm may be processed depending on wood hardness, moisture content, and feeding speed. In these cases, slower feeding and reduced volume per feed are recommended.

If you plan to regularly chip thick or dense hardwood (such as aged hardwood or ironbark), we recommend contacting us for confirmation or considering a larger model.
